Club Announcement: Jarrod Gieschen Resigns as Senior Coach
After eight remarkable seasons at the helm, Jarrod Gieschen has informed the Club of his decision to step down as Senior Coach.
Jarrod’s legacy with the Club stretches back more than 20 years; a premiership player in 2005, a respected Club Captain, and since 2018, our Senior Coach. Under his leadership, the Club rose from the brink of relegation to Division 1, to a Premier C Premiership in 2023 and a Minor Premiership in Premier B in 2025.
Through two pandemic-disrupted seasons and countless challenges, Jarrod led with confidence, compassion, and a deep commitment to developing not just great footballers, but great young men. His impact has been profound, and his record speaks for itself.
Jarrod now turns his focus to his professional role at Mazda, and spending more quality time with his beautiful family. He will be officially acknowledged at our Best & Fairest night this Thursday.
We thank Jarrod for everything and wish him every success in the next chapter. 🤎🤍
