Join us on Saturday, April 18 for the return of the Chelsworth Club Lunch for Round 1 (Goff’s Day), as Old Ivanhoe Grammarians FC kicks off the 2026 home season at Chelsworth Park.
There’s no better way to start the year than with a long lunch among players, supporters, and friends of the club, all building into our Round 1 clash against AJAX. Newly promoted for the 2026 season, AJAX will arrive with strong momentum and a large, passionate supporter base, setting the stage for a big opening contest.
We’ll need all the support we can get. With a number of early-season unavailabilities, Ivanhoe will be slightly undermanned, making the home crowd more important than ever in lifting the boys across the line.
We’re also delighted to welcome special guest Sam Bramham, an Ivanhoe Grammar School alumnus and Australian Paralympic swimmer. Sam represented Australia at the Paralympic Games and multiple international competitions, earning medals across a decorated career. Beyond the pool, he is known for his resilience, leadership, and commitment to inspiring others through sport and personal adversity.
Lunch kicks off from 12:00pm, setting the tone for a big afternoon of football. Expect a lively atmosphere, great food, and drinks flowing as the buzz of footy returns to Chelsworth.
Whether you’re reconnecting with familiar faces or bringing along guests, it’s the perfect way to ease back into footy and get behind the boys from the outset.
All players, supporters, and guests are warmly welcome.
