500 games. Darren Toll 🤎🤍👏🏼
This weekend we recognise a huge milestone, with Darren “Tolly” Toll reaching 500 games at OIGFC across his playing and coaching career.
As a player: • 220 games • 2001 Premiership player • Reserves Captain for three seasons • OIGFC Life Member
As a coach: • 280 games (started in ‘09) • 5 Grand Final appearances: 2009, 2011, 2013, 2019, 2023 • 2023 Premiership Winning Coach • 66% win rate • Senior Assistant Coach from 2011–2016 • Coached more than 400 players • Haug Family Award winner
The stats are impressive, but anyone who’s spent time around the club knows Tolly’s impact goes well beyond the numbers.
He’s been a mentor to countless players (over 400 as he kindly provided the stat 😆), someone who’s always willing to give his time, chase past and present players up each week to make up a full team, share his knowledge and back his mates. He’s also known for keeping everyone on their toes with his hilarious and witty speeches that are equal parts honest and entertaining.
Five hundred games is a remarkable achievement, but it’s the commitment, consistency and genuine care he’s shown for this club over so many years that makes this milestone so special.

Congratulations to our captain Patrick Naish on reaching his 50-game milestone for OIGFC this Saturday!👏
Since joining the club, Patrick has made an incredible impact both on and off the field. A 2023 Premiership player and 2023 Best & Fairest winner, he continued his outstanding form with a Runner-Up Best & Fairest finish in 2025 before being named Club Captain in 2026.
His leadership, commitment and passion for the club set the standard every week, and we’re proud to celebrate this well-deserved milestone.
